Due to the failure of ground anchorages, ARKSPOT requested INCYE to deliver a shoring system to support a diaphragm wall at Can Olive Street in Barcelona.

One singular aspect of this undertaking was that there were no walls in the vicinity to take the load, so our engineering department decided to use our new heavy-duty Pipeshor 6 propping system in order to transfer the loads to a floor slab located opposite the wall.

Each Pipeshor 6 prop was designed for a 2.300kN axial load and was up to 23m long, with up to 8m spacing between props and no bracing between elements. This arrangement allowed for maximum wiggle room for the excavation and construction operations.
